Slide Lock 2-shell carriers in Canada...

In case you guys are interested....there is somewhat of a debate on benos about these systems...apparently some have seen some fall into open ejection ports when ditching a gun and some even think there is a potential for ad's with them

Never thought of that but I could see how it could happen. Would take a bit of a fluke but still...

The biggest issue I've seen with these holders is them breaking in the middle of a stage and/or the shell falling out of it mid-stage. All of a sudden this leaves you fumbling for a shell that's not there and you've wasted more time than you supposedly save by going to your belt. Same issue as with a side-saddle from that perspective. If you watch, most of the top 3-gun competitors in the states don't run any such attachments.

I now just go to the belt for all my reloads - I'm only practicing one way that means and I've found my reloading has dramatically improved because of this.

Since the majority of this thread has been off the original topic, I'll follow suit: There are occasionally stages set up where such a device would be pretty useful. If a stage starts shotgun empty and requires all loads to be single loads, for example. But I don't like any accessories on my shotgun, so the next time that comes up I'll just tape a rare-earth magnet to the receiver in a convenient location for the stage. I think right behind the ejection port is a primo location to slam one home in record time.
