slide milling for red dot

I have a 1911 I would like to put a holosun 507 comp on. I am using one of the plates that fits in the rear site dovetail but would like to have it milled to fit it directly on the slide. Edit: Going to have Black Box Customs do it.

Did you have luck getting a hold of them? I sent an email before Christmas. Got an email back 12th of January, and Jay has disappeared again. Never had issues like this with them over the last 5 years.

They do great work. I had my Sig P226 cut for a holosun a year ago by them. Fantastic work.

I've had a number of pistols done by them. The workmanship is outstanding. I did have a 35 they did where the grip would no longer allow my magazines to drop free. The side of the grips looked to have been indented during stippling enough to drag.

Blackbox does really good work but keep in mind they require the slide to be refinished with cerakote and the charge for that isn't peanuts.

Casey at tacord did the last pistol i had done. It's perfect, and they did it for much less than BBC... the communication was excellent, and the turn around time was fast.

I might go that route instead as well. Heard really good things. Communication is big for me.
