Slide won't lock open

Do another range session, try the gun left handed, good luck
I am not sure, if they work O.K. when you pull the slide back and it locks back with all the mags,
Than I would though more ( or less?) lube on the gun, slide rail, barrel and try it.
Did you change ammo, light load may not be driving slide back far enough to lock it back.
Riding the lever has never been a problem with me., but that is just my grip.
I have worked on a Dan Wesson revolver that had too much oil and it would slow the reset up on fast shooting.
It had a polish job and had to run it dry, other then the pins, that gun had the cycle time of a tuned semi-auto.
I am working on a Jericho right now and it will not lock back on the old mag, new ones are fine.
the follower is old enough it will not push the latch up far enough to hook the slide

Took it to the range today. I put a fresh coat of oil on the barrel and contact areas of the slide and only had one incident of the slide not staying open. In this case I am certain it was my thumb riding the lever. I had to adjust my grip slightly but did not have any more issues with it not locking back. I used all 4 mags and three different bullet weights.
