Sling attachment for Tavor?

Hey Soaphy where did you order the gearhead flex from... I looked at w web site called bullpup something, but they never shipped to Canada! I'm still very interested in one!

There is a threaded insert that goes in the hole in the stock and then a screw from the other side. In that link I posted it doesn't show everything that comes with the kit. I can take a pic of the picture in the magazine tonight and post it.

I'm not sure, I'd order one for the rear and see if there is a way to make it work on the front before ordering 2. If it works get another one for the rear. But I'm doubtful it'll work on the front, the article said its a perfect fit for the rear, but there was mention of it working on the front.

I think he wanted a better method than using a piece of string. To each his own, but IMO using a piece of string to attach a sling to a $2700 rifle is a bit bubba. That and its a PITA to remove and reattach.

I can answer your question. The flex clamps directly into the receiver and just sandwiches the plastic stock around the ejection port opening so it is very strong.

I like the Mesa tactical solution for the rear swivel also! You can put a 2 point sling between the Mesa and gear head swivels and have a very maneuverable setup. For a right handed shooter, put your left arm and head through the sling with them this way. This way, when you drop the rifle to go to a secondary or something, it falls slightly to your left side and not straight down like a single point. Keeps the gun from hitting you between the legs too!
 
Well said fstbk! I installed mine last night and have a Magpul MS4 right now, and it works really good. The FLEx fits tightly into the ejection port which is covered holds the weight of the Tavor really well. I am really pleased with this mount as it now falls with the single point sling just right as fastbk commented.
