Sling Attachment Points for ARs

The single point sling isn't working out for my/our needs and I want to move to two-point slings. The barrel mounted attachment on my Stag works okay but I would rather have the attachment point mounted to the rail.

-What forward rail sling attachment options are there? I've done a quick search and have come up with GG&G and Midwest Ind..

-Who uses what and why?

I use a CQD for the front. Allows me to use QD Hooks or Slings and Dieter CQD Rear Sling Mount.

On my 14.5", My 9mm AR15 has the ACE LTD USA swivel on it.

Don't forget about Daniel Defense..

I had a GG&G for the front.
I found I wasn't using it much.
I prefer the rear one as a 1 point attachment, reversible left-right.

I use a 2 point sling with a quick release swivel MI mount on the rail, and the rear quick release swivel plugged into the port on the CTR stock.
Very solid, and the ability to have the whole thing off the gun with 2 button pushes is very handy.

I just checked out their site w_w_w.midwestindustriesinc.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=category.display&category_id=80 and the new "Heavy Duty Quick Detach Front Sling Adapter for Rails" looks like it would be what I'm looking for. Does MI ship to Canada or do any of our sponsoring dealers carry MI products?

I use a 2pt on guns longer than 11.5 (I find I can get away with single points on the shorties)

Either KAC, DD, or MI rail mounted QD button attachments and for end plate mounts I have KAC, DD and Dieter

But now even on most of my shorties I have the BFG VCAS 2 pt.

Wolverine carries MI. You could also talk to SOCOM Supply, since they're now bringing in Larue kit, Larue sells the same.
Failing that, Brownells sells them.

Just talked to Wolverine about Sling Endplates, and they didn't have any MI, so now I'm on the hunt for an sling attachment endplate.

Anyone know a Canadian source for a HK hook style endplate sling attachment point?
