Sling For 858's - What do you guy's Use/Suggest?

Got two VCAS slings from OST today
Both the "on sale" od green, one padded, one not.

Right of the bat, the padded sling has a short range of initial adjustment, it seems fine for a fixed stock CZ but might be a bit too long for a folder, i will know in about a week or so when i get mine.

The non padded version can be fully adjusted and seems like it would be a better fit for a smaller person for either of the two rifles (i actually kinda wish i got 2 non-padded versions).

The non-padded version also comes with a male quick release buckle. However the connector strap which is shown on a regular non-sale VCAS is not included. To Farmboy: Did mine fall out of the box by any chance or is that the way they are being sold?

Either way ill post a few pictures with both fixed stock and a folder sometime next week. For now its time for a ninja nap and then off to the range to practice my super secret mallninja moves (running on the walls while shooting, disappearing in a cloud of smoke when its time to pay for beers afterwards and so on and so forth).

I ordered two medics from farmboy. All those posts about them that I always see must have gotten to me.

One for CZ, the other for *gasp* my coyote rifle, a bolt action. I like the idea of a little more modularity when hiking and hunting.

There are a few variations in the Vickers (VCAS) sling.

Right now we are blowing out all that are in OD, ATACS, and Multicam. I belive the medic and push button one as well.

And now you have one less Medic in black (sold out of coyote, boo) and one less padded ATACS!
Couldn't find the push button option on sale, but that's fine.
