Sling for carrying a Black rifle

Hi, I'd like to know what people use for carrying their black rifles any great distance. Something that fits standard swivels and is built for comfort. What do you use?

I carry my XCR with a padded Vickers BFG. Rifle across the chest.

I'm always carrying a pack. Carrying the rifle up front balances well, negating the weight.

Blue force gear padded sling works quite well. The padded ones are nice if you are going to have it slung for a long period of time.

Condor Bungee single point. I just let it dangle but I'm pretty tall so it doesn't get in the way

I have a specter gear 3pt sling on my mini14, also fits ar15s.
Not sure if I like it, will carry it in the fall. It seems neat.

100% disclosure, I use a cheap laptop bag sling I have had since 10th grade. It fits my type 97 perfect.

Yeah same experience for me. The non padded slings are great for range duty or if you are rolling with a carrier or other similar gear. If you are humping around a long gun for a day or 2, the padding is nice to have.

Blue Force Gear Vickers Combat Application Sling. Padded or unpadded. I put that #### on everything.*


* Kay, not exactly everything. Blue Force Gear AK slings are on my SKS and my 870. But they're awesome too.

I use a Tactical Taylor 3 point sling. There are lots of carry positions you can use with a 3 point.

I've had a CPGear adjustable sling for years now, it gets tossed between rifles. On my AR's I have a green GI sling and a black CF sling. I've also used BFG and VTAC slings in the past and liked them very much.

i always just let the gun (XCM-M )sit on my maxpedition jumbo versipack, Fits Great lol!! And no sling to get stuck!
