Sling for carrying a Black rifle

I resemble that remark.......;)

I just found an AR bayonet lug. Once I figure out how to attach it I'll post a pic. :runaway:

I can't wait to see that lol. Will it have to be welded onto the barrel do you figure or is there some way to clamp it on there? I hope it wont effect accuracy. Either way, cool project.

Mocked up using an AR front sight.

If you're not picky, you can find a Norinco M14 sling (same as the old USGI slings) in parts bins at some gun stores for cheap. I've got them on both my AR's as a simple sling.

Same here. The ability to readily switch from 1-2 point is handy. My black rifles are are light as possible, so the lack of padding doesn't cause issue.

That said, I'd hate to hump a heavy barrel XCR-M or the like.

That said, I don't remember the C1 slings having much padding. Then again, we didn't sling them often!

Hi, I'd like to know what people use for carrying their black rifles any great distance. Something that fits standard swivels and is built for comfort. What do you use?

Check out Zahals offerings as I have one of their widest slings close to 2 inchs or more and has a 10-12 inch pad that can be slid where ever you want it and is available in black or green and with various logos and is cheap and my go to for coyote hunting---Dieseldog!
