Sling ID?

Is this an SMG sling?.

I believe it to be Canadian but there are no markings. One inch wide OD cotton web with blackened brass fittings. Sixty inches long when adjusted to the max.

That is what I thought too, a Web Equipment Pattern 52 carry strap or similar, but my buddy thinks it is something rare.

Thanks for the tip on the respirator case, I go google.

Not found reference to the strap as yet. The respirator case shoulder strap was permanently attached, but is close.

All these years I have been calling it P52 web, when it is actually P51.
