Sling reccomendations for vz.58 ??

I'm running a VCAS sling on mine, wish I had of gone with the padded version though.

Great sling.

I have just lit my spector 3 point sling on mine.
Used the HK hook on the front ring and just threaded the webbing
Through the butt stock.

Works like a dream

the vz58 comes with a leather sling like that one as standard.
IMHO they arent really very good

I have a padded VCAS on mine. When I get another Vz 58 I'll be looking at getting the BFG AK sling.

I've read that is the case with the padded sling.

How do you run your sling? I run my slightly different...

I set my sling so it's the looseness I want with all the slack out so I can tighten the rifle down snug to me for use when hiking and berry picking, etc. I don't use the adjuster to give me slack I use it to take the slack away.

No idea if the padded would work with that methodology...

VCAS is my first choice. However, I found the padded VCAS to be less functional than the standard version.

I think we run ours opposite of how they're intended, I believe they're meant to be setup so they're loose enough to shoot strong side and then the slack is run out to make shoulder transitions possible.

Sounds like we both run ours to be comfortable to shoot with all the slack out and tightened so that we can go hands free for carry and such.
