I need a sling for my Super Nova Tactical, what should I get??? This gun is mostly a trail companion while baiting bears. I need two hands free without the gun flopping around...but it still needs to be easily accessiable

A hand gun would be sooo much better, but i was denied a ATC wilderness permit by the ontario CFO

As others have suggested... a 2 point quick adjust sling. Mine holds close and stable across my back muzzle down, and with the pull of the slings quick adjust tab, the gun can be shouldered and on target in one fluidic motion in mere seconds.

Nice set-up River runner...I really dig that!

Thank you.
i contemplated a single point but in all honesty ... when in the backcountry having the gun dangling, swinging, and banging off things when moving fast, over, through, and under isn't that practical. I really don't expect to need to shoulder and aim it at anything on a regular basis. So tight against my back and out of the way until its needed seems to work best for my application.
Tactical situations are a different story altogether......

I second this. I tried it and hated it for this application.

Thirded, the single sling concept I cannot stand.

I use an adjustable 5.11 2 point sling on my 590 and a Vickers 2 point on my 930. Hell, even on my carbines I use 2 point slings. So much more versatile and secure.

I initially thought the single point were the bees knees (in concept) but all the flaws mentioned by River Runner came out. Now they sit on my shelf awaiting my next garage sale.
