sling swivel question

well getting swivels for my two rifles, totally new to this
stupid question here :|

but there are two different sizes 1" swivels 1 1/4" swivels

which size slings are more common, which size swivels should I get

1 inch swivels for 1 inch slings - is the most common size.

But if you have a 1 and 1/4 inch sling you will need 1 and 1/4 inch swivels.
