A friend of mine came over with a black sling that came with his Chinese AR 15 Short barrel model.
He asked me how it went on the gun. I looked at it and took out my H&K 91 and showed him the sling that it has.
The black sling looks identical to the one on my H&K with the exception of a small flat spring hook on the middle metal piece. The sling is designed to carry the gun across the chest, when it is required for action the middle piece breaks away so the gun can be brought up to firing position. It only works with the tropical fore stock with the clip.
If anyone has a bipod for the this type of stock I am looking for one. I am also willing to take in an H&K 93 and give it a good home. Has anyone else received a sling like this with their Chinese AR. If there is a was to make it work on his AR I would like to know how it works?
Did Norinco manufacture an H&K clone?
