Sling with surefire forend for grizz 12.5?

Hey guys, just wondering about how I'd mount a two point sling on a 12.5 grizzly that has a surefire 318lm forend.. I'm thinking with the standard sling plate that sits in the downward position, the light will bash into the plate, or the sling with cover the light. Can you mount those right hand sling plates up at the barrel? Where do you get them? I think this would be the ideal way to make sure the slung doesn't interfere with the forend.

Sorry if this is a stupid question lol.
 
Not a stupid question at all. I've been thinking of a way to do this also, as my Grizzly is configured exactly this way, with the 318LM. Right now I use the QD mount on my Mesa LEO stock for a single point, and a mag tube cap without the sling plate to avoid hitting it. I'd like to figure out a way to do a 2 point in this setup.
 
I picked up one from Brownells.

It attaches the sling above the forend and more alongside the barrel (as I wanted it to clear away the forend for racking), so it would clear a surefire light easily.
