Hey guys like the title say I'm trying to find a 2 point sling for my VZ that won't beat the hell out of the finish on the rifle. I don't want leather, this gun doesn't have the wood on it and is more geared towards the tactical side of things. What are you using and could you post some up close pics of your set ups.mthanks for your time.

The sling is a tool and the rifle is a tool, sling it and move on. If you're still concerned about wear marks then use a sling with polymer buckles over metal ones like a Blue Force Gear sling.

... ok.

You say you're gearing the VZ towards tactical work. So first I want you to throw a sling on it, take it to the range and toss the bloody thing in the dirt. It sounds a bit argy, but if you can't bring yourself to knock it about a bit in a class or practice, what makes you think you'll be able to fight with it? My advice, don't worry about a few scratches on the finish. Kit it up, swing that iron and shoot the hell out of it.

Ha ha I have my one VZ for beating the #### out of and then I have a couple that I shoot but look after a little more. I found a sling that going to work perfect, thanks for the suggestions above guys.m Decided to go with the NSN Vickers tactical

Best way to keep scratches, scuffs, marrs, and dings off your gun is to disassemble it, layer each part seperately in bubble wrap, box everything up and forget you own it.
