slip-on cheekpiece

I'm hoping someone in this forum can help me out with this:

The other day at the range, I saw a guy that had a slip-on cheekpiece on a Ruger 10/22. I know that's rimfire, but I'm hoping someone in this crowd knows of the product.

It was some type of black elastic synthetic material, and was a slip-on, no ties or clips were seen. Then there was a foam or gel-filled cheekpiece/comb on the top.

I've Googled cheekpiece, and haven't come up with anything.

Hoping that some target shooter here knows what I'm talking about.
 
I bought a tie on cheek riser at Cabellas in the U.S. the other day. Leather three different heights available. $30. they were out of stock on the glue on and nylon slip on though. $28. I had searched on here and looked at all the dealers and could not find anything else. Not going to drill holes in my stock for a cheek riser thank you very much. Other than that good luck with the search.
 
I'm not sure if this is what you mean, but I bought one of these a while back for using a scope with my AR180B.

There are stick-on and strap-on versions, both in different heights. I have the strap-on version, which has an elastic that goes around the butt of the rifle as well as a velcro closure that goes around the bottom of the stock. It worked fairly well, especially considering that the AR180B stock is slick, and also has a weird, skinny shape compared to a regular (bolt-action) rifle stock.

try it - if you don't like it , you'll be out all of about 60 cents or so- i like my cheekpiece with some "give" - i had to use 2 pieces stacked to give me enough height to do the m14,
 
I've seen one from tac-pro here in canada. (i think in ontario). Around 50 bucks and it's a saddle type cheek piece and has two bolts with hand tightening nuts on either side of the stock.
 
Probably more old school than you'd like, but Pacific Canvas & Awning ( if I recall properly) has the leather and felt Garand D type sniper pads ( lace-up ) for around 30 $ US
 
I have a blackhawk tactical piece I believe it's called to raise my cheek to meet my tall optics on my .308. I really like it, plus it's got a shellholder and a small zippered pocket for ballistic tables or what have you.
 
Beartooth Comb Raising Kit - it is essentially a neoprene sleeve that stretches over your stock with several different sized high density foam inserts. I used one for the first season shooting with my Rem 40X F-Class rifle with original walnut stock. It worked pretty good. I have since had an adjustable checkpiece installed.
 
The beartooth is excellent, but if you can find them,a buttstock shell holder and some foam works just as well and is a little cheaper.
