slippery buttplate

Just picked up a yugo mauser, and it has a very slippery butt plate. Is there an aftermarket butt plate that I can get to slip on, that will not dammage the stock?

Have a look at hte pachmayr website, they may make a boot big enough to slip over the buttplate.
