I have a TC Icon camo with weather shield on the way, so when it shows up it'll be time to look for some optics. only problem i'm having is, not sure what color to go with....I think a Matte black scope wouldn't look that nice on it because there isn't any other black markings on the rifle. Yet, the weather shield coating isn't quite silver so I'm not sure how a silver scope would match up against it. Does anyone have something set up using a camo stock/weathershield barrel using either a silver or a Matte black scope, and would share a picture of it.

You nailed the problem with silver scopes...they never match the rifle. I remember the old Weatherby "Electroless Nickel" coating that was quite yellowish. Browning's SS was fairly bright but not quite a match. Remington wasn't too far from silver either. And Ruger's was a very pleasing dark grey. But nothing would match properly. Best solution I've seen was to go with a stainless base and matte scope and rings.

Just to add another option, it may not be your slice of cake, but you could always paint your scope...if you're able to take on the task, you can paint it whatever colour you like, matching it to the rifle. You could also send it out to have it professionally cerakoted. Or another option is to have it wrapped. Check out a Canadian company by the name "Cobra Imaging." They have a special wrapping method for almost anything, including firearms and related accessories. They may even have a similar camo to your firearm.
I like a gloss black scope on a polished blued rifle, and a matte black one on a matte-finished blued gun, assuming a nice walnut stock in both cases.
But on a stainless/synthetic rifle? Who gives a crap? That's like worrying about what colour the oil filter is on my truck. I would probably stick with matte black simply because the "stainless" scopes, which are actually just a clear-anodized, natural aluminum colour, look like they would be much more visible and attention-attracting in the field.
