Thanks. I was posting from my Blackberry. I do realize that he's not quite 400 lbs but just the same, he scared the daylights out of me. He was coming down that log straight at me. It was exciting to say the least.

LOL, I know. It was still nerve racking for both of us. He was probably only 4 ft beside me when he went by. I was glad he was only a little guy and not some monster. Too bad it wasn't a deer, though.

I was only trying to get a chuckle out of you guys. I know it's a small bear and that he wasn't aggressive at all but it still scared the heck out of me. And what's a good story without a little exageration? I just wanted to share my excitement as it was quite an experience for me.
