Slow shipping

My experience with SFRC was a great one, I was really surprised to receive an unexpected phone call asking about clarification for specifics of an order, since they didn't have *exactly* what I was looking for (granted, I was looking for something fairly uncommon in the production of what I ordered, so I wasn't surprised). Overall got what I was expecting to get, and considering it was a presale order around Christmas, it came in fairly good time. I had no hassle with e-mail communications, they were quite clear on what they needed for me and were fairly speedy on the replies and getting my order sorted.
 
We were only looking for ideas. The main GG&G order should be here in a couple weeks.

Email order sent in about a week ago for .45ACP and 6.8SPC with my PAL faxed the next AM. UPS confirmation this afternoon for item ready for pickup by them.

This mean less then 2 weeks total from order to delivery, that is perfectly acceptable in my opinion, plus as Chemist pointed out it's tax return time.

All this with not a single complication. (Almost too easy... LOL, I still say someone should invent an ignition interlock type system for late night browsing.
"Sorry sir, no orders allowed until blood alcohol is reduced to 0")

Just an update, my order arrived much earlier then expected! Thanks again everyone, can't wait to send it downrange.

i am very happy with the service i have recieved from the staff at theammosource. very fast and polite. this has been the same service over a number of visits to both the website and the store. the products are worth what you pay for them. the girls are great to deal with.
 
I've talked to others who also found shipping to be slow.
I know that when I order something, get a delivery ETA, and have nothing a week after the ETA, it's annoying even if I have no pressing 'need' for the rifle.

Maybe the ETA's should be a bit less optimistic.

The prices are right for the most part though.
 
Yea the computer generated ETA is inaccurate, but a simple polite phone call got me a straight forward answer. Waiting is just part of the game, as long as it's reasonable and justified. I'm satisfied that SFRC is doing the best they can, while offering competitive prices. I'll continue to order from them, thanks guys.
 
As I've posted before we can't ship until we know that it has been approved. In this case your CFO did not fax us and when we last called they said it was not approved. We called again today after you posted and it is now approved. It will ship tomorrow.

Actually the transfer was started shortly after the payment was processed....you would have gotten a status update for each from the website. Either way it doesn't mater, it's all sorted out now. It is usually easier to give us a call sometimes as I'm not on here every day.
