The stock trigger pack is making me crazy!!!! I am totaly unable to install my trigger parts in it!!
Where can I see which trigger kits fit in without any problems? I am starting to be fed up to encounter a new problem every time I take my build to the next step!!
####ty trigger pack, missing charging handle notch, incredibly hard to install roll pins!!
Ffs I just want to shoot my new nr rifle before it gets banned buy those liberal ####ers!!!!
Test fitting a few things on my SLR from the latest batch tonight. Serial number is in the high 400's.
Everything went together pretty well, upper reciever is fixed for metal mags now, in the picture it has the RRA 10/30 pistol mags . The only thing I had to do was run a 3/8" drill bit through the safety and trigger box thing, and I will say is the anodizing is super "dry" out of the box but does look better once you wipe it down.
This gun is really light, using a 18.5" Rise Armament 1.8 lb stainless barrel and Brownells lightweight BCG, SLR adjustable gas block, Geissele SSA-E , SCH and Marine Bolt catch. Also a V7 Hyperlight 13.5" Handguard, V7 Titanium micro brake, and still waiting on a MFT Minimalist to replace this crappy stock. Haven't got it on the scale but it should be in the high 5lb, low 6 lb range.

I was really worried about the SLR being junk when I bought it. But honestly I think its just because people on here have no idea how to put stuff together or a basic understanding of research and problem solving. Like if you don't have a small hammer, rubber vice jaws, and a pin punch kit (and are willing to buy one) maybe this isn't for you?
So you're saying my rusty claw hammer and homemade vice isnt going to cut it? /s

Got her ready for a coyote hunt tomorrow morning. Made some changes since I first assembled it. Added a strike ind bolt catch/release, pulled the UBR off (put it on the Stag) and threw on a Strike ind. Viper stock with the rubber buttpad, modified my trigger box to allow for my trigger tech trigger and this morning I slapped a vortex Crossfire red dot on a 45 degree mount. Had the red dot sitting around, we will see how it works, just wanted a fast option for those coyotes that show up out of nowhere. Hopefully we can draw a coyote in front of it tomorrow!
Put the lower together today.
With all the talk I expected major issues.
Glad to report it was easier than expected.
A few notes:
- XCR pistol mags seat tight and do not drop free
- PMags are perfect and also tried the Hex Mags - also good there
- selector switch is tight but reasonable (90 degree)
Lucky I had the correct Torx bit available.
Now waiting on the barrel and will be good to go.
What talk? from who?

Metal pistol mags are an issue in the Stag 10 so what is the common denominator here. Posters seem to blame MDI and will not show the identical displeasure with stag. (Shrugs shoulders).
