Looking for input on buying a slug barrel for my M870. Gun will be used for deer hunting in Southern Ont. I plan on reloading Lyman cast slugs which are loaded in a conventional wad. Not really interested in shooting sabot bullets. Expensive and I like to reload and cast. I've talked to a couple knowledgeable reloaders who have obtained good accuracy with these slugs in a rifled barrel. My other decision is a cantilever scope mount or sights and saddle or side mount later. The cantilever mounts don't seem all that "solid" to me. Any advise/input would be appreciated.
