slug choke

what is the recommended minimun choke constriction for the 12g for slugs. called Briley and advice me for the IC ( .010) any comments please. thanks

I'm not a scatter gun expert but I've always been told that the best choke for slugs is IC. If you look at Remingtons sight for example, their combo shotguns come with a 20" smoothbore fixed IC barrel for slugs, or of course the fully rifled barrel.

IC is best, but i've shot alot(200-300) slugs out of a full choke tube. kicks a little harder and didn't seize the tube.

ude rifled slugs in smooth bore, sabots in rifled bore.

I have shot a lot of slugs even out to 200 yards.Brenneke old style with the fiber wad screwed to the slug and have found the Mod choke to be ideal. Also works well with buckshot and birdshot so I believe it to be the best choice by way of an all around compromise.

Either Mod or IC, not all IC and Mod chokes have the same diameter.
