I have a Rem. 870 sps 3 1/2 in mag (monte carlo stock) I wish to scope. It has the cantilever mount on it (it is kinda high for a hollo site) Would a Bushnell 3200 1.5-4 32mm be able to handle the recoil,or should I look for something else? The gun will mainly be used for deer with the odd turkey hunt thrown in.

The Bushnell should be able to handle the shock, but I'd probably spring for the Leupold VXII 1-4x20. Not _that_ much more, and it's a treat to look through. A lot lighter too.

I like the fact that the Bushnell will be brighter being it's 32mm and that I have easy access to one. I was thinking more about recoil effect, and what type of rings to use. Sorry if I was misunderstood.

I hope that bushnell would hold up. I had that same gun but a cheap 39$ tasco red dot on it for 2 years with no problems.

Yeah I worry about that too. Thing is I allready have it so will see how it works.

Muller has a nice 2-7x33 or something similar. It's cheap and should be a great scope. It has a weird reticle though or one I am not familiar with, just to round circles which is suppose to be better.

If you have the cash, I would go Leupold
