I just got my hand on a Maverick 91, wich is a Knockoff of the Mossberg 500, in supermagnum and with Accu-Mag interchangable chocke (with a Full chocke).
Now on the barrel right next to the chambering (2 3/4, 3 and 3 1/2) it's writen "NOT FOR USE WITH SLUGS"
I'm not quite sure of what to make of this as on Mossberg own web site they say:
Wich is not my case.
I'm kind of disapointed because I wanted to go Deer hunting with this gun. So is it just some warranty nullifing clause or can it damage de gun or even be dangerous to fire slug?

Slugs may be fired through choke tubes except those with X-Full constrictions or designated "Turkey tubes". Generally, open choke tube constrictions will produce more consistently accurate groups. The "Improved Cylinder" tube is a popular choice for slug shooting.
