Slugs out of shortened Moss 835 barrel?

Howdy all. Few years ago found a beat up barrel for my 835. On the barrel it states, do not shoot slugs. Will this have changed by shortening the barrel at all?( don't think so but gotta ask the hive) I know these barrels are over bore so was just wondering. Thanks folks

Since they are over bored most slugs won't group worth a damn. The gas gets past the slug and that could cause a few possible bad situations

Yep kinda thought the same. Oh well guess I'll have to come up with some better sights for the 24 inch slug barrel
