This has probably been posted here before but here it goes anyway. Is it posable to get ahold of those fancy sabots used buy manufactures of sabot slugs? I would like to try reloading sabot slugs using muzzle loader bullets. I dont want to cast slugs like the lee system. I like the performance of the many muzzle loader slugs. I like to tinker and save money is a bonus.

You can buy sabotted ML bullets. Lyman makes 'em, I think. Not exactly cheap nor in large quanties.
Shooter's Choice in Waterloo lists Hornady sabots. Not terribly expensive either. Mag sabots in .45 and .50 calibre are $10.95. Regular sabots in .50 and .54 calibre are $8.95. Doesn't say for how many or what the difference between a magnum and regular sabot is. They'll ship too. Add the W's.

They are for black powder guns he is looking for these....stuff that in a 12 guage shell and roll crimp and you have premium slugs at the price of trap loads. I am working on potentially importing them but things are slow and they company isn't really interested in doing it either.
