I have small base dies for most of the stuff I load in bulk. I pick up a lot of range brass and it's easier to just run unknown stuff through a SB die than find out it was fired out of a sloppy chamber and won't let my gun lock up...

If you take the expander rod out of the SB die it can make it into a body die for a smaller calibre. A 30-06 will put a squeeze on 270 and 25-06. A .300 win will do the bases on 7 Rem, 264 Win, and 7mm, 270 and 257 Weatherby. Won’t touch the shoulder but that’s a good thing.a 308 does 7-08, 243, and my 22-243
