New to hunting, doing my first deer hunt this season. Also thought I would get into some small game. So..... I havent been able to find anything online --> Are there any bag limits for rabbit, woodchuck, coyote, wolves? Also I am using a shotgun 2 3/4 #6 for the rabbit/woodchuck. So I assume I would need to change to my deer rifle (270win) for the cayote and wolves... Can I carry a shotgun and rifle at the same time or would a game warden give me a hard time for this? I'm new to hunting so sorry if some of my questions are ignorant.

It's private land I am using and it is in zone 10east, all hunting is allowed.

Thanks.

No bag limits on any of the small game species you will be hunting in that zone. Haven't found anything saying it is unlawful to carry more than one firearm at a time except when hunting waterfowl.

If bullets don't expand and you don't hit big bone results should be satisfactory. Of course an other round would be ideal but if the 270 is all you got why not use it. Considered getting a coyote/wolf specific rifle this year since I'd like to hunt them this year up north but after finding my VZ 58 in 556 to be a sub MOA gun shooting off the bench I decided there's no need in wasting money.
