Small handgun options

Sig P229. It is rated "compact," and has the shortest legal barrel for Restricted. Still, with its double-stacked magazine there is a lot of firepower. 40 S&W barrel switches with .357 Sig and uses the same magazines.

You can add the factory threaded SIG P239 to the list but I like the G19 better. Note both above are not mine and have US barrels. CDN versions will be a few mm longer.....

I haven't seen one in person, but isn't the S&W SD9 VE supposed to be the same size as the G19? Although, people seem to hate the trigger.

Many options if you want to go .22, or. 380. I have a Phoenix HP. 22 that is an economical little shooter which is tiny. Downside is the multiple safeties. Used it once and still don't know the sequence of latches to disable in order to fire it! (may be willing to sell!)

South African Vektor is pretty small - same idea as HK PM7/8.

I'm going to be selling a hardly fired .380 1911 browning . Pm me for details if you wish . It's a great option for a small pistol but if you have very large hands I suggest against it .

I know that is a glock 17. I have a glock 19 as well. My glock 19 with the threaded barrel has the same overall length as my glock 17. The FMK is about the same size as glock 19 not the Canadian version. Anyway I am not recommending it. I found the sights dinky and not interchangeable, and I had a pin that kept drifting. I like the glock 19 much more even though it is bigger.
