What are the best models for people with small hands that fire a .40, .45, or 9mm round in semi auto?

Search brings up Tac870 dating girls with small hands for various reasons. Proper help would be appreciated.

Sig 226R with E2 grips and 1911 with an STI short curve trigger installed. Both of these work well for me and my small hands.

Single stack 1911's seem to fit small hands VERY well.

Ruger SR9 is another which is particularly skinny and fits small hands well.

CZ's fit well as long as the small hands are not trying to shoot in DA mode. At that point the reach to the trigger is rather long.

Ruger Mk III with skinny and rounded grip scales would fit a small hand well too.

The Browning Hi-Power is said to be comfortable for small hands. I have one, but I don't have the small hands so I can't vouch for it personally in that respect. It is best to take the hands in question to try the gun if possible.

ruger sr9 is thin and nice for small hands but does have some weight to it with the metal upper.

S&W M&P in either the 9 or 40 are nice and comfy for small hands with the small hand weld on.

my wife still prefers my Glock for her small hands, but i think that is probably more of a weight thing then actual comfort, but who knows for sure as she calls all black handguns glocks, so it could infact be the S&W she prefers.

i would say my hands are medium and i love the 1911.
my wife hates them, but again im thinking its more of a weight issue.

Steyr M9, you will also find it's design does not allow it to "jump' in your hands like other pistols.

Try and find a first generation as they were made in austria, after that I know people had problems with them.

if you have small hands you can forget shooting 45 ACP in any other format besides 1911.
You will get a lot of fanboysm biased answers, as you did already, like recommending a Sig 226 for small hands? that is plain ridiculous.

If you have small hands, you are looking at glock 19, mp9, P30L, XDM9, (cz75 maybe, most likely not).
In .40 some guns are still ok, since the grip does not change.

Beretta 92fs, Sig 226, are just clubby and I will never recommend those, no matter what grips you put on those, you need medium to bigger sized hands to shoot those guns.
Jericho, is as clubby as a CZ, so maybe.

I have own most of the brands named and I kept the P30.

For 9mm, try a Browning High Power.

Depend what you are looking for.

I am 5F2 and weight 140 pounds so yhea I am short and small. Here is my experience:

Sig P226 way to big tryed whit E2 grip ok but not the best.
HK P2000: whit small back strap, it's really tinny and a ok gun
Browning High power: Size is ok to shoot however the ergonomic is bad for some one whit small hand
Springfield XDM9: Best of all, to me it's my go to pistol. I can shoot that one more accurately than any other one I have tried so far. (Raging hole at 7 meters for deliberate shooting) Fired the Equivalent of the XD 4inch and you can hardly feel the recoil on those thing! (It's also my only 9mm left)
Glock 17: The ergonomics doesn't fit me due to my size and I get tighter grouping whit a 12g using bird shot

Those are the pistols that I used enough to voice an opinion there are other like SR9 HKP30 or S&W MP9 that could fit your need.
