Small hands, kids, lady shooters guns

I'm looking for a gun that will fit my wife's hand better and also that will one day be easier for my daughter to use. I'm a glock guy G4 35 and 17 and G3 22 and 27. She is a Crack shot with a sw 686 and AR but falls apart with semi hg. Was thinking maybe it's a fit issue.

I would like to stay full power round such as 9mm as I have .22's. What about the 23 and 19 do you think it will fit the bill? I like both of these but will they fit the bill? Should go outside the glock box? Should i say build one down without the fingergroves to make the grip as strong as possible? What in 40 or 9 would you suggest.

G19 is the same grip size as the 17.
have you consider a single stack gun in 9mm like a Sig 220 in 9mm?

Last time I was in the market, the M&P came with three sets of hand grips for different sized folks.

If that's a no go, tokarev clones (norks) in 9mm have some pretty small grips.

I'd let her try a CZ Sp-01 Shadow seems to fit smaller hands well and shoots like a dream

Wow you guys are fast. I was gonna try the Firearms of Canada grand opening with her but I know it will be crazy so I was trying to get some ideas. I will try the sig and swmp for sure. I wasn't sure about the Browning HP what about other single stack 1911 are they smaller than glock in the grip?

And yes I was considering a CZ. CZ and 1911 were on the wish list and selfishly I hope they fit the bill.

the cz is very compact for a double stack - more so than the hi-power. 1911 with thin grips would be a great choice as well.

My wife is tiny and has tried all my handguns, and she loves the Ruger SR9. Great gun, sweet trigger, very manageable recoil and the price point can't be beat !

I will pay for my wifes shoes but not buy them for her without her trying them first.

My wife likes her S&W 586 and 686 the most for DA revolvers, her Ruger Super Blackhawks for SA revolvers, and likes her Colt 1911 for semi autos.

My wife is 5' tall with little hands, Let her decide what she likes best.

Ya Kanook that is the plan. Funny you say the 686 as she is bang on with it and likes the 686 grip but wants a comfortable semi. The only thing I buy for her that she wears is lingerie.
