Small hands looking for a new gun!

Hey guys, I'm looking for a new handgun right now. I want something that fits my small hands better. Ive owned a G17, M&p9 and 1911, the glock is the only one I've kept but it may soon be leaving.
Ive been interested in sigs lately, mainly something that is single stack to reduce the grip size. Ive had the p239 in mind, any suggestions or experience with it?

I also have small hands and would not suggest the Sig unless you've tried it and it fits. I've tried a number of Sigs (but perhaps not the P239, don't recall). I ended up with a CZ Shadow with thin Aluminum grips (and grip tape). Much quicker to reach the mag release and I have more of my hand in contact with the pistol for faster follow-up shots.

While tastes vary, I found that the large height of the bore over the grip caused more flip than I preferred, and I didn't particularly like the Sig triggers...lots of take up and a vague, long reset.

Other than a 1911, I can't think of many other pistols with small grip diameters.

The Sig320 is a good deal and you can choose between small grip, medium grip or large grip lower. The entire lower is switched out with each size.

Give the CZ Shadow a try ..it feels good in smaller hands

I found the Browning High Power was small for my taste. I sold that gun.

I just got Norc NP22 (Sig 226 clone). Glove size is about 8.5. I might look for smaller grips in the future, but for now it works just fine

Sig 320 is a lot smaller in the grip than other Sigs.
Gen4 GLocks are smaller than previous generation Glocks.
1911's are small in the grip (single stack).
Likewise, the HK45 isn't bad (single stack as well).
Otherwise, HK SFP9, Walther P99 & PPQ, M&P, CZ's are all OK.
I haven't tried other makes and models of guns like FN's, etc. so I can't comment on those.

Just stay away from double stack .45's, Beretta 92's, Sigs (except the P320), Desert Eagles.

Ruger SR9, SR40, SR45, dam well made very slim. I have med/large hands and handle it well. My wife is a tiny thing with very small hands and also handles it well. Worth looking into ! A great gun at that price point.

Look in to a Sig P220 in 9mm if you want a small frame 9mm. There are one or two older used ones on the EE for great prices right now.

The Ruger SR9 works great for my smaller hands. Try it, I think u might like it.

I second the SR9, just stipple of TALON grip it,, its slippery, or try the FN FNS 9L,,

A single stack 1911 with the short trigger is about as good as it gets for small hands. Why didn't you like it?

+1. My G19 feels great in my small hands. If OP wants plastic this is the best choice going.

Try the Spartan 9mm then...breaking glass trigger, almost no take up...and I believe a couple on ee...
