Beautiful pics and a lovely bull. When I hunted in BC, a two point was considered an immature bull and hence an 18 month old so I'm not sure it's a 2.5 year old, not that it matters. Nice shot placement as well!

Sadly, Moose hunting in Ontario is a mess for several reasons. More hunters than available tags is a big one, declining moose population (for reasons I won't mention), and getting the requisite number of points takes years. If I had deep pockets I'd look at a guided hunt somewhere but even a non-resident moose tag is pricey for this old pensioner not to mention travel, accommodation, and food costs. Lucky you and congrats on the moose! Beautiful pics!
