Close but not the same: The 450 is a hotter primer than the CCI BR-4. It does have the extra thick cup as the BR-4.

Not according to them when I emailed asking about it. BR-4 are just "exceptionally consistent" lots of 450.

Can Large Pistol or Large Magnum Pistol be used comfortably in place of Large Rifle primers ?
