Small rifle primer availability

All I know is when I saw a 5,000 case at the CHAS gunshow in Edmonton last weekend, I jumped on it like a fat kid on a candybar.
Locally, small rifle primers (especially CCI's for some reason) have been crafted from pure unobtainium and coated with a 2-micron layer of vapourware.

They seem to be coming back, slowly. But different places that have websites are showing more in stock instead of the usual "on backorder" status, so that is promising. I was pretty amazed to walk into the local store and see the only primers he had in stock were small rifle! Not anymore of course 
I grabbed a case (5000) at TSE before xmas, CCI400's, not sure if they still have any
Was able to get the last boxes at Le Baron's 4000 Benchrest CCI small rifle $46.50 per K
less 10% with members card, I see them at Cabela's USA at 49.00 per k first time I have seen prices that low for some time, had to pay $63.00 last summer for Gold match small rifle in Brockville ON

The CCI 400's I got at the CHAS show were $165 for 5k... so $33/thousand. Not bad at all, given my present frustration at finding ANY small rifle primers for the last 6 months. And now 5k will last me a few years at least, since I shoot a lot more .308 than .223.

Federal Gold Medal Match SM rifle primers
Ì bought one brick (1000) at WSS in Edmonton north on the weekend for $42.00. It looked like they only had two bricks but have a 1000 per customer policy. Went back the next day for the second brick but they only had 2 x 100 packs left.
P and D's have both the Fed's and CCI small rifle but are a bit more at around $47+ per brick. The 100 packs there are $6 each...

'More reason to keep my $23/k for CCI's and $30/k for Federals source to myself...
$47/k... is rape.
