On the EE you can often find a used 17rem in an older Rem700 BDL, the odd time a Sako Vixen will show up.
The 17 Fireball you can find in a Rem700 VSF from time to time.

SORRY, I see now that you are looking for new

Where you are might make a difference. Really the wrong time of year for varmint rifles. However, your local gun shop will certainly order anything you want.
Kind of suspect finding .204 Ruger ammo won't be much easier. Don't look for a BNIB Rem 700 Varmint in .17 Fireball. It's discontinued. Discontinued in .204 Ruger too. Old stock, maybe though.
Epp's is listing .17 HMR, Hornet and WSM only.

This place is much like a gutpile. 306coyoteclub gets shot down and within minutes 307coyoteclub rolls in. What are the odds.....

I have some fast varmint guns, including a .17 Rem. The .204 is always my first choice of guns when the shot counts. Stock Tikka that shoots MOA. Very fur friendly, crazy accurate, fairly quiet, excellent in the wind.
.17 REMINGTON is fun too, very fur friendly but a nightmare in a slight breeze.
I have been doing some penetrated tests on some varmint calibers, on a 1/2" steel plate. The .204 is pretty amazing for a tiny pill, right behind the .220 Swift.
