So for those of us who dont have 12(6) whats the smallest pistol(s) available?

An HK P7.

sig 239 tactical

I have a Norc 228 clone and have shot the P7. The P7 is way smaller, so unless the 229 is much different than the 228, there is no way it is the smallest restricted available. I would say that the P7 is the smallest 9mm or larger calibre pistol that is restricted. I think something like a re-barrelled PPK would be smaller overall, though.

I think the .45 derringer from Bond Arms is the smallest restricted handgun. If you want semi auto HK P7 or something like G26/27 but they come with a barrel boner here in cananda.

My vote is with P7 for smallest restricted pistol, I tossed in an elderly but very functional non restricted (making the point of classifying small handguns prohib as total BS) 32rf Hopkins and Allen revolver for comparison. P7 weighs 1 lb 12 oz, at almost a 1/3 of the P7's weight the H&A comes in at 11 oz, third picture comparatively shows their respective ammo, 9mm round on left and 32rf on right.

For semi auto the hk P7 takes it I think. For handguns in general it would be between the NAA Earl, Minimaster, or Bond Arms snakeslayer. Smallest lightest I would say is the Earl.

The Earls is pretty light at 8.6 oz . Does the NAA Earl make the 106mm barrel restriction? Their website list barrel length at 4 inchs, is there a longer version?

We had a batch made with a 107 mm barrel so it would be legal in Canada. All sold out though. We have custom minimasters coming in the next few days and they're pretty small too. Especially if you change the grips.

FYI, here's a pic of the minimaster with the grips changed. It's pretty much the exact size of the Earl; actually, maybe a bit smaller with these grips. Sometime when I have more time I'll take a picture of a minimaster, earl, HK P7, bond arms snakeslayer, and norinco M93 all side-by-side for comparison.
