Smallest Restricted semi-auto

Probably a pocket Glock, or whatever type you like, but it's useless since they have to legally replace the pocket pistols barrel with a legal one more than 4 inches long. Which makes the pistol look goofy since it was never meant to have over 2 inches of barrel sticking out the front. That's why most people just buy the regular size pistols.

Here's a Glock 26.Imagine 2 inches of barrel sticking out the front, with our laws it's just best to stay away from these type of guns unless you have your Prohibited permit.

Well, the HKp7 is considered a sub compact. Its the smallest restricted i have with no barrel sticking out. Unless, it has threads, barrel extensions to make something restricted looks odd. Here's a comparision of a g17 and a p7. The sig mosquitto is pretty small as well. But, its buried too deep in my safe to bother with.(and it has an extended barrel)

some canadian company, or someone in canada should design a compact/subcompact pistol that would satisfy all of the canadian restricted laws. im seeing some sort of new or modified short cartridge that would allow the chamber and barrel to start extremely far back in the slide. this way the 4" law could still be satisfied, but still maintain a compact size. anyone have any thoughts on that?

Berretta Model 86 Cheetah (mid frame size .380)
Star Model F, 4.25 inch barel (.22 LR only)
Colt Commander 1911
ParaOrdnance LTC Commander 1911
Previously mentioned P7, if you got that kind of cash (copper jacketed only)

And lots on tiny guns with the strange looking extended barrel.

Some Canadian government should allow us our human right of CCW and then some Canadian company can design a sub compact pistol that would satisfy all of the Canadian citizens.
