Smallish Revolvers

Hi all,

I just wondered if anyone knew of any restricted revolvers which have a 4.25 or 4.5 barrel. I would like to get a revolver but would like a smallish one.
everything I can find has long barrels.

Your knowledge would be greatly appreciated.

If you really want a small one, the Ruger bearcat will be a top pick.

This one is mine, I bought it last Christmas. Just a tag bogger than my xs hand

the Ruger spo1 is smaller then the gp 100 or the s&w 686 it is a five shot double action pistol.

S&W Model 60 .38/.357MAG stainless 5 shot revolver. Not sure if it comes in 4.5 or 4.2 though.

Apply for access to the Equipment Exchange. Used GP100's in 4.2 inch barrels show up reasonably regularly. But you will need to develop a sense of patience if you want a "deal". Also unlike buses they don't come by every day. But over a month or so they seem to show up a few times.

The bearcat is the tiniest of the revolvers that I have seen. It is a .22 of course, I take it you are looking for a 38/357?

While the GP100 has a short barrel it is by no means a small revolver.

The Ruger Bearcat would be the smallest real revolver althought it's a .22.

North American Arms also makes some Canada legal .22 mini revolvers. Neat toys but I consider these mostly novelties.

I have a Ruger SP101 and it's very compact.

Also well made and a perfect kit gun.
