The supermarket does not have have meat, it has steroid laden, factory farmed,drug induced, red dyed protien substitute. Poor comparison, but we knew what you meant.
I know of a few gabriola/saltspring hippie types who are organic vegetarians because they don't want to eat drugged up meat. However, they do hunt their own meat when season starts. or they will eat meat if the chain of custody remains organic from hunter to butchershop to the table.

If you were to get a brand new reciever for a sub machine gun that was not prohibited by name and put semi auto parts on it would that get around the converted auto BS?

From what I was reading, he was talking a receiver specifically cast for semi, with semi-only parts in it, that "looked" SMG'ish.
yes you can build a new reciever make it semi auto only
you also have to make it in such a way the the fullauto parts CANNOT fit back in
rcmp will probably want to test it too they will try everything they can to make it FA and therfore deny and destroy your gun
look at the new 1919's they are built as semi ONLY nonrestricted
many of us have toyed with makeing a semi only subgun based on a FA version BUT its a BIG $ risk you could spend tons of time and $ and have it taken away
if you want to try to make a semi go nuts just follow the law and notify the right agency when your done and get it papered

I regularily take either my sterling PC or my 9mm AR to the Shilo indoor range to plink with. I'll normally go through two boxes of IVI ammo a night.
