You guys know you can make a de-mooner tool out of a half inch PVC pipe with a hacksaw, right?

I have several the length of 5 .45 cases, so they don't fall on the floor.

I think I'll head out and zero my 625 in the morning. I was silly enough to sell my 5" 625 last year so I had to buy a 4" last fall.

but so slow on the reload....in practice i can change out a moon clip as fast as i can reload a 1911, very occasionally i can do it faster. but if your just target shooting or plinking on the range, yeah, auto rim is the way to go by a long shot (pun intended)

The 4 inch is listed on the Smith website. Never saw the 5 inch. Very nice gun to shoot. My 625 5 inch has a green hi viz front sight installed.

Did you have the hi viz sight installed or was it on the gun when you got it? I have been thinking about putting one on my 5 inch 625, but not sure exactly which hi viz front sight I should get.
I have read that some 625's have quick change front sights but it looks like the one I have is just a standard one that is held in by the cross pin under the front sight.
If anyone has changed this type of front sight themselves how easy was it? If it isn't too hard I think I might give it a try myself as I do like the hi viz front sight I have on my S&W M&P
