But if the bear is close the muzzle flash will set it on fire. I also wonder if the YELLOW grips are some sort of BEAR REPELLENT, they are not attractive to me. Maybe it is a marketing ploy for nongun people "YELLOW IS FOR SAFETY" , SO THEREFORE IT IS A "SAFE GUN".

Yellow grips, easier to see in low light (like in your tent).

I love guys who buy field equipment with a camo finish. Put it down for a second and poof, it's invisible.

Finally a gun that ends that age old debate ;)

Ah yes, the "what's the ugliest revolver ever made" debate:)!

(Sorry, couldn't resist...I generally like big bore snubbies but this is a little fugly even for me!)

That is one fugly gun. I will give you that. But yellow grips? Icky. I wonder if you shoot it you end up on your ass or laying on the ground with the gun pointing in the air. ;)

Nice revolver.......I would like to have one with a 106 mm barrel. I’m sure it would weigh less then my Ruger Super Red Hawk .454 Casull that’s chopped down to 4.25”. Any info if it was a 5 rnd cylinder or 6 rnd? S&W has quite the competition in that Ruger Alaskan…..my shortened RSRH is a dream to shoot with .45 Colt rnds. Hard to believe any thing would be better. Only insignificant complaint is the weight, which isn’t really worth #####ing about. Looks like this S&W might beat it in that area.

hope the guy that needs it can get the case from his backpack and open before the bear has him for dinner

Runt, do you have any pics of the chopped Super Redhawk you can post? Im thinking of doing the same. What front sight did you use? What gunsmith did the work? Did they remove the barrel to chop it?
