So I finally received my panic buy revolver the other day.
Today I was entering it into my ledger and decided to confirm the serial number. My eyes aren’t what they used to be so I used my phones camera and zoomed in to read it. What I found was interesting. It appears that my frame has been restamped from a 29-2 to a 29-3. I would assume that this revolver was born in 1982 when the pinned barrels and recessed cylinders were changed. If so I think that would be neat considering that’s my birth year. How would I find out what year this revolver shipped from the factory?
Anyone else have anything similar to this?
