Smith and Wesson M&P 15/22

The GENERAL consensus is that the M&P 15-22 is a MUCH BETTER rifle than the Colt. Google is your friend.

I was in the Washington state recently and got to handle both firearms.....M&P15-22 is the hands down winner.

i have to agree it is cheaper and way better looking..i will try to find out what makes it better rifle.
either way if they are non res...then we all are winners no matter which one you get.

:bangHead: A .22 that looks like a AR is restricted but a Tavor, SKS, M14S, AR180B, XCR, CZ, etc is non-restricted...Tell me why I hate the CFC again

The CFC only administers the law. The law can be changed. The ####ing Crouton Lieberals were the ones who brought in the AR-15 variant laws. TheConservative party is our only hope oput of the current ones.

They wont tackle that issue. They are walking a fine line as of late with the registry. They will sit on the fence for awhile now that they have made us happy with the registry. They are not on a full blown mission to rid us of the firearms act.

There is nothing in it for them. If they see a political advantage then they might do something about restricted/non-restricted, mag capacity, ATC, etc, until then, they'll keep the status quo.

So I just got back from pickin up my new AR. Like I said I gave up on the M&P 15-22. I have not yet had a .22 I didn't get bored of really fast, and after selling my Remington 597 VTR after only owning it for 2 months I decided agaisnt the .22. This is a Bushmaster Carbon 15 in 9mm, came with a fabdefense quadrail as well as a 10 round mag. I got a really good deal and prolly only paid about 300 bucks more than I woulda on the M&P anyhow. And really 9mm is cheap anyways just a bit more fun than the .22. I put 100 rounds down range when I picked it up, and loved evey shot. I would recommend going this route to anyone.

Last I checked the Bushmaster 9mm offering you have there was $1150..... The M&P15/22 is under $600 including shipping..... Thats a differance of 10,500rnds of .22!

:)Nice pick-up there, in any case. I want to shoot one before I commit to a 9mm AR. Can you shoot cast out of that thing, or is it a CMJ/FMJ unit?

Cheers!
