Went to the local gun store today and found the S&W M&P 40, the gun, grips, 3 mags and the tool kit for $660. Just wondering if anyone has one and if they like it and is that a good price?

The only other pistol I've ever fired or owned is a Tokarev, thanks for any help!:D

The M&P40 Range & Carry Kit is a way better deal. Check out Wolverine's website, they sell for $675. I have the M&P9, like it way better than my Glock G22.

How is the Reliability?

That sounds like the same package they have I can't remember what all was included, if I do buy it it will be from the local dealer.

I've got one of these on my list right after I grab my AR. Or maybe before I get my AR...maybe now...
It's a good thing I can only make it to P&D on saturdays, otherwise I would be completely broke.

I really do like the feel of these, and the package deal is looking very appealing. Soon.

Got my M&P 40 PRO last week- Love it! I find the grip kinda thick for my big hands, so I'll switching the stock one out for the downsized backstraps.

I had one as well as a couple M&P9's. They are nice guns, but decided to stay with gen4 Glocks, I like M&P's better than older Glocks tho.

Had one, loved it, ran ~2000rds of everything from pdx-1 hollowpoints to bags of shooting range reloads to tula & wolf steel case with zero malfunctions ever.

Sold it because I really wanted an HK instead, but the M&P was excellent.

I shot one briefly at the range. Awesome gun! Im a glock guy and its more comfortable than my gen 3 17. I dont own a .40 and the M&P is on the top of my must have list

Hells yes you should buy it. Awesome gun, fits like a glove, very accurate, super reliable. It's a very nice, no BS kinda pistol. I love mine. The range kit is a huge value too.

Literally buckets of ammo through my M&P9's, and a bunch through my M&P45 -great platform, zero issues. A big +1 for the carry kit, the holster, mag pouches and Uplula are worth close to a hundred bucks, and you'll want them anyway.
