Smith and Wesson M&P15 Sport - feedback?

Stags are excellent value for the money - I've only seen one guy with a complaint (which is a miracle here abouts) and that was a mag issue about 6 years ago - and frankly the guy was a DB. He hadn't even contacted Arms East, he just came on and complained about the mag. If the budget will stretch another couple of hundred, you'll have a gun that will last a long, long time and hold it's value. Make note that this applies to the rifles sold in Canada - not the ones sold in the US, Arms East picks and chooses and we get the good stuff. Lifetime warranty in Canada too.

I was definitely looking at Stag from Arms East - and really contemplated it, but decided that I would be stretching my budget a bit more than I wanted - however maybe I need to reconsider saving up some more $ ..It seems that it is kinda that way with AR's a little bit more $ will get a bit better rifle - I guess where does it end? lol ..I did see one poor review on Stag Arms on youtube where the guy was saying his Norinco was way better...I'm not one to make that judgement at all but I guess it swayed my choice a bit...I need to reconsider I think.
 
I have a couple of Stag AR15 rifles. 2T and 6R. Both are nice. They make a quality product. Also the ones we get are essentially the enhanced versions. IE they have more check marks on the infamous list than the US ones.

"LIFETIME WARRANTY WITH CDN SERVICE CENTRE." - is a pretty sweet deal for sure!
 
Pretty sweet is right! I'm actually thinking about side-lining my TT33 for a while longer in order to get the 3R LE as my first Restricted. I've bought 2 rifles from Arms East since April as well, and IMO you can't get a better place to deal with.

Cool, that's good to know..I haven't dealt with them yet but they seems to get great feedback from people on here. I'll be checking out their rifles online today.

I think it is mis-stated, but I appreciate the intent. I believe the statement may refer to AEI specifying configurations that may be or may not have been standard configurations in the USA. It is not a question of quality, but specifications.

Stag Arms produces excellent rifles at reasonable costs because:

A: They are one of the largest manufacturers of M16 FOW (family of weapons) parts in the USA.
B: With almost 40 years of continuous M16 FOW manufacturing experience, experience speaks. They are a US Dept of Defence certified M16/M4 Subcontractor and learned how to make parts over 30 years cutting M16 parts almost exclusively for the local CT M16/M4 "Primary Contractor".

Only Colt has been manufacturing M16 FOW parts for longer than Continental Machine Tool of New Britain CT, Stag Arms 'Parent' (literally) company.

Good eye. Sweet indeed. The Lifetime Warranty should answer ALL questions about the quality of the product. Second to none. If the extremely rare event occurs that there is a problem with your Stag Arms rifle, it WILL be dealt with promptly, by Arms East, in Canada.

Shameless plug, there is a nice core15 on ee right now. Solid rifle can't recommend enough. Mine has full magpul goodies, base doesnt but also only costs 1099.

Wow thanks for the info! Much appreciated!! Stag is now at the top of my list!

A quick question(s) I have is - it difficult to install an Ambi safety? ...also is it possible to install an Ambi mag release? ...I am going to buy a right handed model but I also shoot mostly left.
