Can anyone tell me if the S&W 1500 is the exact same as the Weatherby Vanguard as far as stock relacement goes? I have a S&W 1500 in .223 and need a stock for it. A dealer in the forums has stocks for Weatherby Vanguards for sale but he doesn't know for sure if they will fit my S&W. Is a .223 a short action?

S and W 1500 is the same as the howa and vanguard rifles. You need a short action stock and you are good to go.
