I shoot a Model 41 for Bullseye competitions and I’m really struggling to source a picatinny rail here in Canada so that I can start using red dots.
Does anyone have any information where they can be found? There are some in America but they pose their own challenges getting over here.
Having a second barrel with a picatinny rail built in would be ideal but S&W doesn’t sell them separately and Clark Custom Guns doesn’t seem to do them anymore and their quality may be declining.
I’m also struggling to find much choice for Ultra Dots here in Canada if I decided to go down that traditional route for the optic.
I don’t know if it’s the decline of Bullseye or the impacts of the pistol ban but I’m really feeling the difficulty in sourcing relatively simple components here in Canada at the moment.
