Well, it was too wet to do pics of the Ithacas so I took a couple of hours and a new shotgun out for a little fun. I put a box (actually a mixed box) through it. No issues-feed well and smooth. Not a bad feel at all. I'd never seen one before and wanted to try it out before we list them. First time I'd ever used a 20 gauge semi, actually. Very pleasant to shoot. :) Centre brass bead, front FO 'bead'.
Anybody have any experince, good or bad, with these 1020's?
Pic was taken too late, after it was getting too dark. I'll have better one(s) tomorrow.

Interesting shotgun,Clay.I remember many years ago that Smith and Wesson had an autoloader on the market. They were if I remember not on the market very long and I cannot remember having seen one.

Both saw & shot a couple of the former S&W's Target Model 1000's. They were around for about a dozen years or so, when 1100's were all the rage ...then the Super X-1's appeared .... I retired the 58 and 1100 for a couple of SX-1's.

If the new ones were anything like the old (apparently they were made by Howa) ... they were quite decent. New ones I'm given to understand are made by S&W at one of their plants in Turkey, but at a different facility than where the Elite SxS line is made.

Just got a nice S&W 1000 but no chance to try it out yet.
Very light (alloy receiver) but swings nice.
Made by Howa for S&W until '87 then changed to Mossberg 1000 if I read it right.
